Health Insurance
Ever since the passing of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act in 2010, often referred to as Obamacare or the ACA, health insurance coverage has seen a dramatic change across the US. The law allows individuals and families looking for health insurance coverage to pick a plan through an insurance company, while also accessing a tax credit to help cover the cost of insurance. The amount of tax credit is determined by each individual/family’s household size and income. Some qualify for $0 coverage because their tax credit covers the entire bill, while others make too much to qualify for any tax credit.

Learn About the plans
Individual Health Exchange
For those who qualify for a sizable Advanced Premium Tax Credit from the federal government, enrolling in a plan from the exchange will be their most advantageous option. By law these plans cover preexisting conditions, accept anyone who is enrolling during a valid enrollment period, and are the only plans where the tax credit can be utilized.
Cancer, Heart Attack & Stroke Plans
If your family history naturally increases your risk for cancer, heart attacks, or a stroke you may be eligible to enroll in a policy that pays you a sum of money ($5,000-$30,000) if you are diagnosed.
Dental, vision, & hearing insurance plans
Dental and Vision coverage can be purchased at any time. These options are customizable to allow one to purchase the coverage that they want.
Health Savings Account
Some ACA compliant health plans allow the enrollee to set aside money on a pre-tax basis, and spend that money for healthcare expenses. When the account is fully funded, these tax savings can amount to thousands of dollars annually.
